Dick Clark has left us at age 82

This is a sad time.  I grew up watching Dick Clark on television.  I saw him the last time on New Years Day 2012 on Dick Clark’s Rock’n Eve.  He was barely on TV for 5 minutes but he was a trooper who wanted to stay involved with his fans.  He loved his work so much.  It was a passion more than a job.  I feel broken hearted right now.  It is said when anyone leaves us to be with our maker but when you have someone go who has been a big part of your life, it hurts a bit more.  He will be sadly missed by so many.

I wonder if they will always call it “Dick Clark’s Rock’n Eve.”  That would be nice.

Heavenly Father,

Dick Clark is now awaiting for you to take him home. Holy Spirit, please go to his loved ones and bring them a sense of peace and let them feel the Lord God in their presence.  Have his loved ones know that Dick is now in a good place and he will never be forgotten. He is at rest and a well deserved rest.  Thank you Holy Spirit, Thank you God.  In Jesus name I pray to you, Amen.
